Jack Elliot - C-41334 - Cook - Enquiry seek help from the public

My name is Jim Little, a volunteer researcher/biographer for the Faces to Graves Foundation, with a mission of finding pictures of and telling the stories for our fallen soldiers who are buried or commemorated at the Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery and Memorial near Nijmegen, Netherlands. https://www.facestograves.nl/

I am working through the remaining list of fallen South Saskatchewan Regiment (SSR) soldiers interred there, and received the attached unidentified group photograph with the digital file for my current subject Corporal John ("Jack") Ernest Elliott, C/41334. His picture is posted with his profile at this link: https://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/remembrance/memorials/canadian-virtual-war-memorial/detail/2663210?John%20Ernest%20Elliott .

Jack Elliott joined the SSR as a Cook from the RCASC 25 October 1944 in Belgium. He was killed at Hochwald 3 March 1945.

If anyone has knowledge of this group photograph (presuming it's of SSR personnel) in terms of where and when it was taken or who any of the soldiers pictured were (one of them should be Jack Elliott, possibly back row, far left), please contact me through SSR webmaster Greg Salmers.

Thanks,
Jim Little.
